House regulations
For your and our safety, we use the following house rules at the GP Urgent Care Center:
- On the phone, you have been given a consultation target time. We try to help you as quickly as possible, but emergencies take precedence. We ask for your understanding in this regard.
- Staff and visitors treat each other in a respectful manner and respect each other’s privacy.
- Staff may ask you for proof of identity.
- Instructions from our staff must be followed.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the building. If you wish to smoke, please notify the desk assistant and then go outside.
- Using a mobile phone in the waiting room is allowed, provided you do not disturb other patients.
- You may not photograph or film anyone or anything in the doctor’s office without permission.
- Verbal or physical abuse, harassment, discrimination or other undesirable behaviour will not be tolerated.
- We will immediately report any weapons possession, drug use/trafficking or theft to the police.
- Without a valid reason, you will not be allowed to attend the doctor’s office.
- We apply a zero-tolerance policy. This means that violation of the rules of conduct leads to a warning, a report to the police and/or denial of access to the GP Urgent Care Center. In all cases, costs incurred will be recovered from the violator.
